Dry Tortugas Ferry

Yankee Freedom Sails to Fort Jefferson located 67 miles west of Key West , The Dry Tortugas where the fort is located, remain  one of the area's longest running and most loved pieces of history.  In addition to historic Fort Jefferson, the island boasts picturesque beach-scapes, bird-watching, and flawless sunsets.  Most of the 100 square mile park is technically open water (most of which is inhabited by coral reef) so the snorkeling options are endless.

Camping facilities are available for a small fee.

The Yankee Freedom gets underway by 8 am. Breakfast is provided during the trip to the Tortugas.  Once you arrive you can meander through the fort on a self guided tour, or immerse yourself in the ocean for some of the best snorkeling in the region.  A buffet lunch is provided.  The trip takes about two & a half hours each way.  You return by approximately 5:30 pm.
