KEY WEST SUNSET CELEBRATION
Each night visitors and locals, as well, gather at the
edge of the
Gulf of Mexico
to participate in the world famous Key West Sunset
Celebration. Stroll the docks at
Mallory Square
where you’ll find musicians,
jugglers, and street performers.
There are also vendors selling food, drink and
many unique items. Grab some homemade conch fritters,
have your fortune told, or watch a tightrope artist.
All arts and crafts are hand made by local
artists. This
is a great opportunity to purchase some authentic
Key West
gifts and souvenirs.
Hold up your drink and cheer as you enjoy the
perfect view of the
Key West
sunset. Maybe
you’ll even see the “green flash”.
Be sure to arrive about an hour before sunset
(see below for sunset times throughout the year).
The Mallory Square Sunset Celebration is located
one block from the foot of Duval Street, within walking
distance of well known bars (something else that has
made Key West famous) such as Sloppy Joes and the
Hog’s Breath Saloon.
