The Waterfront Playhouse is a not-for-profit, professional theater that is located in the historic area of Mallory Square in Old Town Key West. The Waterfront is an intimate 150-seat theater that is a favorite performance space among locals and tourists alike. The Waterfront produces a range of comedies, dramas, musicals, classics, world premieres, concerts and family programming. The Playhouse utilizes Key West's rich pool of talent of actors, directors and designers, as well as attracting national professionals, such as actors Kelly McGillis, Donna McKechnie and Charles Busch and playwrights Terrence McNally, Israel Horowitz and author Carl Hiaasen. Join us for an exciting evening of live, professional theater in Paradise.
Past productions have included musicals such as Little Shop of Horrors and dramas like Equus and Streetcar Named Desire. Lighter entertainment has included Black Comedy and The Legend of Irma
Vepp.
